1920s advert with artwork by William Spencer Bagdatopoulos. This was for the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits and Chemins de Fer du Nord, the French operator equivalent to the UK's Southern Railway.
I find it fascinating that co-operation between railway companies on both sides of the Channel was such that the same artwork was used for posters used in both France and Britain. The Southern Railway equivalent is here.
