Another example from the other side of La Manche promoting cross-channel traffic via the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry route between Paris Gare St Lazare and London Victoria Station. The artwork is a quite traditional view of Dieppe port from a ferry.
The Southern Railway was formed, of course, in 1923 and Chemin de Fer de l'Etat disappeared in 1938 when the SNCF was created, so we can tie the poster's date to that fifteen-year period.
The artwork is signed but, sadly, I have only a low-resolution image and can't identify the artist. Can you help?
