Edwardian poster promoting the London-Paris route via Newhaven-Dieppe by the Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest et de Brighton. The artwork was by René Péan (1875-1955).

The poster promotes the route from Gare St Lazare via Dieppe-Newhaven. That route may have been a tad slow but it was cheap ('Route Economique') and, apparently, picturesque ('Pittorique').

That lady looks Edwardian and the Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest disappeared on its merger with Chemin de Fer de l'Etat in 1909,
