This 1906 poster by an unknown artist made me chuckle. Its aim is clearly to encourage French tourists to visit the Kent seaside town of Herne Bay, the industry of which is 'health making'. Herne Bay at the time offered golf, fishing, bathing and military bands, which sound like enormous fun.

The poster was published by the Chemin de Fer du Nord and the South Eastern & Chatham Railway.
